“I went to the Internet and I looked up where Bill Clinton did that weird diet and I went on that diet. Basically, impossible, in my opinion, but I did that diet for a couple months,” said Rosie. “I went vegan for a couple months. I just couldn’t do it.”
Oftentimes these diets end up not working for everyone who tries them and it becomes tiring to try them all. Rosie eventually underwent gastric-bypass surgery after suffering a heart attack. She had previously thought of the procedure in the past, but was concerned about the risks involved.
Rosie opened up to the “Dr. Oz Show” about her experience of losing more than 50 pounds since her surgery. Although she has lost the weight, she is continuing to look at healthier ways to live her life.
“The truth is, I had a heart attack two years ago and stress is very bad for a heart attack survivor,” said Rosie.
She is working toward her goal of cutting stress out of her life and maximizing her well-being.
