Sixty percent of the users surveyed said they lost more weight when pairing the app with a fitness tracker, compared to those who did not use a tracker. Almost 96 percent of the responders admitted to using the app with some sort of activity tracker.

In addition, the survey showed that 92 percent of users felt they stayed motivated while using a fitness tracker. The Lose It! app and others like it help calculate the amount of calories users should consume throughout the day as they burn calories through activities in order to meet their weight-loss goals.
