I cook daily for my family and most, I say most of the time I cook whole, not processed foods. I use a lot of herbs, fresh vegetables, fruits and grains. This is a great list of things to add or keep in your diet to help with weight loss and overall health. I love to make quinoa into anything I would usually make with rice. I make all of my beans from scratch. It is so easy, not to mention cheap. And Ahi tuna is in our weekly dinner rotation.
But I draw the line at grapefruit. I HATE it. My family knows never to bring it into the house. I sound like a monster, don't I? Maybe it was that grapefruit diet I went on as a teen, I'm not sure but I can't stand it. And going vegan? I love cheese, Sorry... not sorry. I'd give up steak before I give up cheese. Not my precious cheese.
