Do You Track Your Activity?

Do You Track Your Activity?

I wear a FitBit and I’m aware of my steps.

I put off getting any kind of a fitness tracker for a long time because honestly, I didn’t want a reminder at the end of the day of what I didn’t do if I didn’t get any activity in. Well, I finally caved and bought a FitBit (like…a long time ago). What I liked and what surprised me is just how many steps I was getting in on just a regular old day. Add in an intentional walk and BOOM, 10K-12K!

I’ve now come to really appreciate that little buzz it makes to get up off of my tush and move.

You can sync a variety of fitness trackers to your WW App and set an activity goal for yourself. If you don’t have a fitness tracker, you can track your activity manually. I have not paid much attention to my activity goal in my WW App, I’ve just been counting steps. Yesterday I decided to add that tool to my week. I had my goal set at 50 forever and today I’m going to increase my goal to 100. Now that I’m paying attention to it, it will be a great reminder to always keep moving and to remind myself of just how great I feel when I move.

Last week felt like a good week and I was just over 100, so it sounds like a reasonable goal to set.

WW Members… Have you checked out the FitOn classes now on your App? There is such a great variety!!

Breakfast

Yogurt with an Almond Butter Swirl. I added 2 tsp of Almond Butter. Love this combo!

Lunch

I was cleaning out the fridge and freezer. I found one frozen grilled Chicken Thigh and a few fresh veggies that needed to be eaten. I sautéed the veggies in Olive Oil and garlic.

Dinner

I can’t remember what deep conversation Mike and I were having when we sat down to eat dinner, (I think we were discussing the fact that neither of us thought to mow over the weekend) but the conversation was intense enough that I forgot to take a picture of our plate of food. Mike doesn’t love these, but I don’t mind them once in a while when it’s all I kind find to fix.

Must thaw something today!

Salmon Patties with Dill Mayo and roasted Brussels Sprouts.

Since I’ve reclaimed mowing as my job, I best get out there and do it before it gets too hot!

Curious as to how many steps that gets me!

Have a fabulous day!

‘Til tomorrow!
